BReplacing Hydraulic Tank Oil Filter
To avoid personal injury:
A Be sure to stop the engine before changing the
oil filter cartridge.
A Allow engine to cool down sufficiently, oil can
be hot and can burn.
1. Park the vehicle on a firm, flat and level surface.
2. Tilt the seat.
3. Remove the oil filter. (Take care of the oil that spills
from filter.)
4. Put a film of clean KUBOTA SUPER UDT OIL on the
rubber seal of the new filter.
5. Quickly tighten the filter until it contacts the mounting
surface, then, with a filter wrench, tighten it an
additional 1 turn only.
6. After running the engine for a few minutes, stop the
engine and check the oil level, add oil to the prescribed
level.
7. Make sure that the hydraulic tank oil doesn't leak past
the seal on the filter.
(1) Hydraulic tank oil filter (Return)
A Receive the spilt oil with rags or trays.
Be careful not to spill oil.
If you should spill oil, wipe it off at once.
A To prevent serious damage to the hydraulic line, use
only a KUBOTA genuine filter.
BChanging Front Axle Case Oil
1. Park the vehicle on a firm, flat and level surface.
2. To drain the used oil, remove the drain and filling plugs
at the front axle case and drain the oil completely into
the oil pan.
3. After draining, reinstall the drain plug.
4. Fill with the new oil up to the upper notch on the
dipstick.
(See "LUBRICANTS, FUEL AND COOLANT" in
"MAINTENANCE" section.)
5. After filling, reinstall the filling plug.
Oil capacity
(1) Drain plug
(2) Filling plug with dipstick
0.6 L (0.6 U.S.qts.)
(A) Oil level is acceptable
within this range
