Chapter 5: Error Messages and Troubleshooting
Description
The CPU failed the built-in self test.
The CPU encountered an internal
error.
The CPU thermal sensor detected a
high temperature on the CPU.
The CPU is disabled or not
functioning.
The CPU failed the FRB-3 timer
test.
The CPU did not initialize properly.
The CPU cannot apply a recent
BIOS update.
The L2 cache on the CPU failed.
The BIOS and CPU versions are out
of synch.
The watchdog timer failed on the last
boot.
Corrective action
Replace the motherboard, as
described in
"Replacing the
motherboard" on page 102. If the
problem persists, call Network
Appliance Customer Support.
