Description
The CMOS is clear.
The system password is not set.
A PCI slot error was encountered.
A PCI memory allocation was
encountered.
A PCI input/output allocation was
encountered.
A PCI IRQ interrupt allocation was
encountered.
The PCI shadow ROM failed or was
not detected.
No PCI ROM was detected.
The PCI shadow ROM failed, was
partially detected, or was not
detected.
Corrective action
Ignore this error message and
continue booting to the operating
system. If the system does not boot,
call Network Appliance Customer
Support.
Attempt to isolate the problem by
completing the following steps:
1. Shut down the system.
2. Remove one PCI adapter,
starting with the NICs, as
described in
"Installing or
replacing expansion
on page 95.
3. Reboot the system. If the
system boots without the error
message, replace the NIC you
removed in Step 2. Otherwise,
repeat Steps 1 and 2 with the
remaining NICs and the
NVRAM 4 adapter.
4. Replace the motherboard, as
described in
"Replacing the
motherboard" on page 102.
If the problem persists, call Network
Appliance Customer Support.
