Chapter 1: Preparing for the Installation
To install the appliance components in an equipment rack, you need the
following tools and equipment:

#2 Phillips screwdriver

Marker
◆
Hand level
◆
Antistatic wrist strap and grounding leash
Caution
The appliance has electronic components that are sensitive to static electricity.
Static discharge from your clothing or other fixtures can damage these
components. Always wear an antistatic wrist strap and grounding leash to prevent
static discharge.
To configure your system, you need the following equipment on site:

ASCII terminal (also referred to as an ANSI terminal)
◆
Serial console
◆
Communications server
