Installing a DIMM
Chapter 6: Maintenance and Servicing

Open the appliance, as described in
page 65. Make sure that both power cords are unplugged from the
appliance.

Locate the DIMM you want to remove, press down and outward on
the ejectors at the end of the DIMM socket until the DIMM pops free
of the socket, then lift the DIMM free.
To install a DIMM into the system motherboard, complete the following steps.

Align the new DIMM with the socket, making sure that the notches
at the end of the DIMM are aligned with the DIMM ejectors.
When inserting DIMMs, follow these guidelines:
You can only insert the DIMM one way into the DIMM
socket. If the DIMM does not fit properly, turn the DIMM
180 degrees and reinsert it into the socket.
Ensure that DIMMs are inserted into the correct slots for
your appliance model (C1200 or C2100). See
memory
