Chapter 4: Powering on the NetCache appliance
Step Action
1 Apply power to the system and boot it to the first series of
configuration questions displayed on the Status LCD.
2 Enter the requested information for each configuration question
displayed on the Status LCD, by using the following procedure:
1. Using the Cursor right or Cursor left buttons on the front of the
bezel, select the field you want to change.
2. Press the Increment or Decrement buttons to change the
highlighted value in the display.
3. Press Enter to accept the displayed value and to move to the next
variable.
4. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 for other values in the display.
Note
If you do not enter any information on the console, the system
attempts to boot with default data.
3 Go to the Quick Setup Guide to complete the installation.
Note
If you want to restart the initial configuration process, push the left
and right cursor buttons at the same time.
