Valve Assembly Replacement - Firegear KWCH-2 Owners & Installation Manual

Turn the unit off and allow to cool to room temperature.
Remove cover, glass and logs, if already installed.
Remove Table Top - see instructions in this manual.
1. Remove burner by removing 4 screws in locations shown below. If glass is
installed, move the glass out of the way to reveal screws.

2. Slide burner to the left, away from the pilot orifi ce and lift out.
3. Remove gas knob by pulling off.

4. Remove ten (10 )screws (in locations shown below) to remove valve assembly.

5. Angle valve assembly slightly to manoeuvre up and out.

6. Replace gasket if required.
7. Replace with new valve assembly.
8. Install gas knob removed in Step 3.
9. Reverse step 2-1 to reinstall.
