3.7 Installing a Removable Hard Disk Drive

1.
Remove existing internal hard disk drive if one is present.
2.
Assemble the Removable HDD kit with a 2.5" HDD, as instructed with its
accompanying documentation.
3.
Break the Removable HDD punch-out both in the metal case, and the keytop
plastic.
4.
Install the removable HDD kit as instructed in section 3.4.1, Installing a SATA
hard disk drive.

3.8 Closing the System

Carefully reverse the process of opening the system. Be sure to make the
Motherboard connections as follows:

Make certain that the back of the Keytop clears the back connectors and carefully
lower the Keytop over the base unit. Then, turn over the unit and replace the five
Phillips screws to the bottom, plus the two screws on the back of the unit.
NOTE: Upon hardware configuration completion, CMOS setup should be
run to ensure that the system information is correct.

The 20-way Ribbon cable from the keyboard controller PCB CN7 in
the Keytop must be connected to header JFP1 on the Motherboard.
The 44-way Ribbon cable from the Optical drive interface in the
Keytop must be connected to header IDE1 on the Motherboard.
