Changing the Configuration

This section explains the basic method for changing the configuration set-
tings. However, the following settings use different methods and are described
in the subsequent sections.
*User's pass code..... See the "5.4 Setting up, changing, or removing the user's
pass code" section.
*System Administrator's pass code... See the "5.5 Changing the pass code of
the system administrator" section.
* Color balance... See the "5.6 Adjusting the color balance" section.
5.3.1 Basic method for changing the configuration
The following procedure illustrates how to change the default value of a
configuration setting, using the paper tray selection as an example.

Operation procedure
(1) Select the Tools button from the copier control panel.
For detailed information on how to display or close the Tools screen, see the
"5.1 Displaying or closing the Tools screen" section.
(2) Use the up or down button to select a setting.
(3) Press the Select button.
