Lens holder
The lens holder can be taken out as a single unit (base plate + fixation plate + Y-plate + X-plate): this is de-
scribed in the procedures below. The lens holder can also be taken out as a part of the engine.

Description of the lens holder
Description
The lens holder is an assembly of different parts:
•
base plate:
-
is fixed to the engine (2 screws) and to the projector chassis (3 screws)
-
the motor connector board is mounted on this base plate
-
motor and micro switch wires are guided through slots in this base plate
•
fixation plate:
-
is fixed to the base plate (3 screws and nuts)
-
these 3 screws are screwed in and glued to the fixation plate
-
the vertical lens shift motor support is fixed to this fixation plate (2 screws)
-
4 linear bearings are used to connect it to the Y-plate
•
Y-plate:
-
is fixed to the fixation plate (4 linear bearings)
-
the 4 micro switches are fixed to this Y-plate in pairs, the switch buttons towards the outer sides
-
again 4 linear bearings are used to connect it to the X-plate
-
4 springs between the Y-plate and the X-plate are used to neutralize tolerances
•
X-plate:
-
is fixed to the Y-plate (4 linear bearings)
-
this part of the lens holder is used to hold the lens flange
-
the horizontal lens shift motor support is fixed to this fixation plate (2 screws)
-
the lens connector is fixed to this X-plate — the connector can be slightly moved!!
