Description of the lamp
Description
The lamp which is used is a short arc Osram VIP metal halide lamp of 300W. The start pulse needed is 5kV. In running mode,
80–120V AC is used to feed the lamp. The tension depends on temperature, pressure and distance between anode and cathode
and is adjusted to guarantee a power of 300W.
