REMOVAL

Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
Keep heat, spark and flame away.
• Turn the fuel valve OFF.
• Place a container beneath the drain hose, drain fuel from the
float chamber by loosening the drain screw 1.
• Disconnect the fuel hose 2.
• Disconnect the throttle position sensor coupler 3.
• Remove the wire clamp and throttle pulley cover 4.
• Loosen the lock-nuts 5.
• Remove the throttle cables from the pulley.
• Remove the hot starter cable 6.
• Loosen the carburetor clamp screws and take out the carbu-
retor from between the intake pipe and air cleaner duct.
After removing the carburetor, cover the intake pipe
with clean cloth to prevent dust from entering to the
engine.
