[ 2 ] Downloading

If you download a file having the same name as that already used in the user area
of the RAM in the BHT-4000, the newly downloaded file replaces the old one.
For downloading to the BHT-4000 from another BHT-4000 without routing the
CU-4000, first select the direct-connect interface port in System Mode (refer to
[ 4.5 ] in this subsection) at each BHT-4000. Next, pull out the connector cover
on each BHT-4000 so that the direct-connect interface port will be exposed, and
then use the QM connector cable to connect them directly. (For details about the
interface cable, refer to Subsection 3.1.2.)

Chapter 2. Getting Started the BHT-4000 and System Mode
Selecting "Download" on the SYSTEM
MENU displays the screen shown at left.

Select a desired file by using the numerical
keys, then press ENT key.
In the center of the top line appears the
selected file--PROGRAM or DATA. The
screen shown at left selects PROGRAM file.
The BHT-4000 is waiting for a program file
(or a data file) to be downloaded.
For downloading to the BHT-4000
from another BHT-4000, it is also nec-
essary to select a program file or data
file on the UPLOAD menu at the send-
ing BHT-4000.
The extension of program files to be
downloaded should be one of .PD3,
.EX3, and .FN3. (The .EX3 and .FN3
are reserved for future functional ex-
pansion.) The extension of data files
should be other than .PD3, .EX3, and
.FN3.
