Designating data-related conditions
Enter the number of data items for a record
by using the numerical keys. (Up to four
data items can be set.)
Press ENT key.
Like the setting of the ID-related conditions,
set the data-related conditions including the
data entry method, the bar code type, and
the minimum and maximum numbers of
digits for a data item field.
When you have selected the EAN bar
code for data entry, the number of dig-
its for a data item field is automati-
cally set to 13.
When you have selected the MULTI-
code reading and you are to read EAN-
13 or UPC-A, it is necessary to set the
number of digits to at least 13.
If the registered number of data items is
one, the screen will automatically return to
the manager's menu.
If the registered number of data items is
more than one, repeat the above data-re-
lated condition setting procedure by the reg-
istered number.
Upon completion of setting for all data items,
the screen will automatically return to the
manager's menu.
