Program Execution
Allows you to select a desired user program
(including Easy Pack 4.2) to be executed imme-
diately.)

Downloading
Transfers user program files (including Easy
Pack 4.2) or data files from the host computer to
the BHT-4000.
(Refer to Subsection 2.4.3, [ 2 ].)
Uploading
Transfers user program files (including Easy
Pack 4.2) or data files from the BHT-4000 to the
host computer.

Setting
Sets a variety of environmental conditions in-
cluding the execution software, message ver-
sion (Japanese or English), system status indi-
cation (voltage level icon and shift-key icon),
calendar clock, special bar-code scanning pa-
rameters, and communications parameters
(Transmission speed, character length, parity,
stop bits, and communications protocol),
resume function, and shift-key function.
Pressing SF and 0 keys on the SET
SYSTEM shifts to the Delete screen where
you can delete program files and data files.

Testing
Used for the bar-code reading test, memory
test, key-entry test, beeper test, LCD indication
test, reading confirmation LED test, marker LED
test, aging test, and communications test.

System Program Version & RAM Capacity
Displays the version of the System Program
resident in the system program area of the inte-
grated RAM and the capacity of the RAM.
