Download user programs or Easy Pack 4.2.
This section describes the downloading procedure of Easy Pack 4.2 by using System
Loader provided in the "BHT-BASIC 3.0 System Pack" floppy disk.
For the downloading procedure of user programs, refer to the "Transfer Utility Guide"
separately issued.
Operating the BHT-4000
Make sure that the BHT-4000 is operating with System Mode while showing the SET
SYSTEM screen. If any other screen is displayed, start System Mode by referring to
[ 3 ] Setting the Calendar Clock, steps (1) and (2).
• Setting the communications parameters and interface
The communications parameters values for System Mode should be identical with
those specified for System Loader. Since those default values for System Mode and
System Loader are designed to be identical, you may skip the communications param-
eters setting procedure unless you have modified any of those default values.
Listed below are the communications parameters of System Loader, where those
parameters values are fixed except for the transmission speed. The default transmis-
sion speed is 19200 bps. If you have modified the default transmission speed by
specifying option at the MS-DOS command line, you should set that modified value
also in System Mode (refer to Subsection 2.4.3, [4.5] Setting the communications
parameters and interface port).
If you have modified any of the default values of the communications parameters in
System Mode, it is necessary to check the communications parameters values of
System Loader and set the identical values in System Mode.
