* Immediately stop the engine to remove any foreign matter caught in the cutting
blades. Foreign matter may unbalance the rotary blade and cause vibrations
and failure.

Operation
1. Confirm that the grass chute cover is closed.

2. Start the engine and shift the engine control
lever to the intermediate position between
"HIGH" and "LOW".

3. Shift the blade clutch lever slowly to "ON".
NOTE
* When the rotary blade is at the highest

position, the cutting blade clutch cannot be
shifted to "ON". Shift the blade clutch after
slightly lowering the rotary cutter.
