New Functionality
The capacity of a SnapServer can be increased by
attaching expansion units. SnapExpansion units are
supported by both DynamicRAID and Traditional RAID.
GuardianOS now supports seven (7) SnapExpansion units
connected to a SnapServer DX2 or three (3) units
connected to a SnapServer DX1.
For more information, see
page
6-32.
SnapServer servers can now support the use of Solid
State Drives (SSD).
New Functionality
Domain filtering is a new feature (in both the Web
Management Interface and CLI), and allows the user to
limit the number of domain users and groups that the
server imports from the Active Directory domain. This is
done by restricting the import to a specific organizational
unit, as well as to specific domain users and groups.
NOTE:
Domain filtering is only available after the server
is joined to an Active Directory domain. Domain
filtering cannot be used when "Trusted Domains"
is enabled.
The fields are now fixed length and reworked to better
display the information.
The VSS/VDS Access Control and
Snap Finder Properties pages have been changed to
match the new Domain Filtering page.
