9.4 Firmware update

The Webdynhome CDROM contains the Webdyn Gateway Tool which is a small
utility that enables you to perform firmware updates to the
New versions of firmware will be available from time to time. Please contact your
distributor for more information.
The principle is exactly the same as for the AV database update procedure. You
must enter the IP address of the Webdynhome , the user name "install" together with
its password and then specify the path and filename of the firmware update file.
Select the firmware image that you wish to
install.
Note1 : All firmware images will have a .WDF
suffix
Note2 : The firmware image must be stored
either on the local PC or on a mapped network
disk (visible as a letter i.e. d: ->z: )
The "Firmware updated" message indicates that
the download process has completed successfully.
Select the Firmware tab
Once you have clicked on the Download button
the process is automatic and you will be able to
monitor its progress using the system messages.
