Copy BC 8030-BT

Procedure:
 Using the slave reader and its BC 8030-BT cradle, read the Restore Default barcode, set the radio address, and
then read the RS-232 interface barcode in this manual or from the Quick Reference Guide.
 Connect the master BC 8030-BT and the slave BC 8030-BT (cradle to be configured) together through two RS-232
serial interface cables and external power supply. Accessory cables and power supply are available from your
Datalogic distributor to provide this connection.
RS-232 Cables: CAB471 & CAB472
Power Supply: PG12
 Read the Configuration Copy barcode below with a reader. Then place it onto the master BC 8030-BT cradle.
The configuration will be copied from the master BC 8030-BT to the slave BC 8030-BT. The reader signals the end of the
procedure with a series of beeps.

Repeat the procedure above to configure other slave cradles.
NOTE: The master BC 8030-BT can be configured for any interface.
