ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT
6. Install:
S Drain plug
NOTE:
Inspect the O-ring. If it is damaged, replace it
with a new one.
CAUTION:
Before reinstalling the drain plug, do not for-
get to fit the O-ring, compression spring and
oil strainer. Be sure you fit each item in the
correct position and order.
7. Fill:
S Crankcase
Refer to "ENGINE OIL LEVEL INSPECTION"
section.
8. Inspect:
S Oil flow

Inspection steps:
S Slightly loosen the oil check bolt 1 .
S Start the engine and keep it idling until the oil
begins to seep from the oil check bolt.
If no oil comes out after one minute, turn the
engine off so it will not seize.
S Check oil passages and oil pump for damage
or leakage.
S Start the engine after solving the problem(s),
and recheck the oil pressure.
S Tighten the oil check bolt to specification.
