Installing Components

The MP6000 can be installed with or without the following options:
•
Scale and Scale Display (depending on Weights and Measure regulatory jurisdictions, a Scale Display
may be required for units with a scale)
•
Checkpoint EAS antenna
•
Sensormatic EAS coil antennae and RS-232 cabling
•
CSS
•
AUX hand-held scanners.

Quick Reference Installation Steps

Remove the existing bioptic scanner, and accessories
1.
Unpack the MP6000, and accessories
2.
Assemble the dual head Scale Display, if applicable
3.
NOTE This only applies when adding a second display head to a single Scale Display.
Install the Scale Display, if applicable
4.
Connect the cables
5.
Install CSS, if applicable
6.
Install the MP6000/scale in the checkstand
7.
Power up the MP6000
8.
Lower and level the MP6000 in the checkstand
9.
Calibrate the scale, if applicable (see
10.
ONLY).
Install Sensormatic coil, if applicable
11.
Install Checkpoint antenna, if applicable
12.
Install the MP6000 trim kit, if applicable
