PRISMAsync supports NetBIOS Name Resolution only. NetBIOS must be enabled on the host
PC used to submit the jobs.
For name resolution:
• When the controller and the host PC are on the same sub-network, no particular settings are
required.
• When the controller and the host PC are on separate sub-networks, the name resolution must
be done by a DNS server or a WINS server. The host PC must use a DNS server for NetBIOS
Name Resolution.
