Océ interpretation
For print jobs:
• The job name is derived from the job ticket or postscript
comment, when available, or
• The job name is supplied by the job submission client
when this information is available.
• Otherwise, the name of the first file name (without the
path name) is used.
For non-print jobs, it is a string resulting from the concate-
nation of the type of the job (scan/copy) and the job id.
OCTET STRING.
The description of the attribute allows for a choice between
the jmAttributeValueAsInteger or the jmAttributeValueA-
sOctets representation.
However, only the jmAttributeValueAsOctets representa-
tion is supported. The jmAttributeValueAsOctets represen-
tation is more useful (absolute time representation) and
there is no need for monitoring and management applica-
tions to query hrSystemUpTime.
OCTET STRING (DateAndTime).
For jobs originating from the network, it is a multi- row at-
tribute and corresponds to files' names composing the job.
It is not applicable for other job types.
OCTET STRING (JmJobStringTC (SIZE(0..63))). MULTI-
ROW.
Only jmAttributeAsOctets is supported for the same reason
as mentioned for jobSubmissionTime (191).
It is the date and time that the job entered the completed,
cancelled, or aborted state.
OCTET STRING (DateAndTime).
Empty string is returned.
Supported values:
• Other (0x1)
• Unknown (0x2)
• Print (0x4)
• Scan (0x8)
• GetFile (0x40)
INTEGER.
Returned values:
Auto-print job: getFile + print.
Digital mailbox job (network->mailbox): getFile.
Network mailbox print (mailbox->print engine): print.
Copy job: scan + print.
