Effective period: set a period for which the camera can upload files to FTP. The following
options are available:
Always: the camera can upload files any time.
Schedule: select this option to configure the camera to upload files within a designated
schedule. To configure this option, click the [Schedule] button (appears if the
[Schedule] box is checked) or go to SETTING – Advanced – Schedule. See
7.6
for details
IMPORTANT:
If an alarm-triggered recording started at the time of a periodical recording, the periodical recording and
uploading of a file to FTP will start in the next interval of time that is specified in the [Interval] menu.
NOTE:
Click [ОК] to save changes. Otherwise, the changes will not be saved.
7.2. SMTP
This menu provides options for configuring the e-mail alert. A video file or a snapshot image
can be included as an attachment to the e-mail message. The e-mail alert can be triggered during
the specified times or when an event occurs, such as motion detection or the activation of the
alarm input, etc. The menu is divided into the following sections: [General], [Alarm sending], and
[Periodical sending] (Pic. 7.6).
