Check Free Rotation and Housing Rub

1. Put VGT on a bench with the shaft in a horizontal
position.

2. Turn VGT shaft by hand; the shaft must spin
freely. Contact with the turbine and compressor
housings is not acceptable.

Check Axial End Play

1. With VGT in a stable position, push the impeller
shaft toward the turbine housing as far as it will
