11. FAULTS / CAUSES / SOLUTIONS

CAUTION:
GUIDE FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF
SPECIALISED TECHNICIANS.
CAUTION:
All repairs must be performed solely by a specialised
technician with the boiler switched off and the
appliance unplugged from the socket.
The operations marked in bold must only be
performed by specialised personnel.
The manufacturer will not be held liable and the
guarantee will not be valid if this condition is not
abided by.
FAULT
Pellets are not being
introduced into the
combustion
chamber.
The fire goes out or
the
boiler
stops
automatically.
The boiler operates
for a few minutes
and
then
shuts
down.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
1. The pellet tank is empty.
2. The auger has seized up
3. The auger geared motor is faulty.
4. Faulty circuit board.

are

3. The
pellet
temperature
sensor was triggered.
4. The door is not closed properly or
the seals are worn.
5. Unsuitable pellets.
6. Low pellet feed rate.
7. Combustion chamber dirty.
8. Outlet obstructed.
9. Pressure switch faulty or broken.
10. Smoke extraction motor failure.
1. Start-up phase not completed.
2. Temporary power failure.
3. Smoke duct obstructed.
4. Faulty

5. Igniter failure.
1. Fill the tank with pellets.
2. Empty the tank and free the auger.
3. Replace the geared motor.
4. Replace the circuit board.
