3 Remove the Control Code as follows:
a Type R and press Enter.
b Type 1 and press Enter. ("1" is the numeral one.)
c Verify that code block 1 has been deleted.
4 Upload the new Control Code as follows:
a Type H and press Enter.
b Type 1 and press Enter. ("1" is the numeral one.)
5 When "Enter data name string" appears, type the_firmware and press Enter.
6 When "Ready to receive hex file" appears, press the Page Up key.
7 Type R and press Enter.
8 Type the full path and filename for KACNTRL.HEX if it is not in the current
directory.
Example: d:\hexfiles\kacntrol.hex
9 Press Enter to start the upload.
10 Wait for the flash manager menu to reappear.
11 Verify that code block 1 is present.
12 Follow steps 9-13 in "Starting and Using Flash Manager" (page 155).

Switching Between Virtual Flash Devices

To switch between virtual flash devices (after following steps 1-7 in "Starting and Using
Flash Manager" on page 155):
1 Type v and press Enter.
2 Type 0 (for virtual flash 0) or 1 (for virtual flash 1) and press Enter.

Erasing the Entire Virtual Flash

1 Follow steps 1-7 in "Starting and Using Flash Manager" on page 155.
2 Switch to the virtual flash device you wish to erase. (See the previous section,
"Switching Between Virtual Flash Devices.")
