8K Series ProPalette Repair Manual
• Histogram of all the asynchronous hardware errors and the picture count when the error
last occurred (see "Error Classes and Messages" in the previous section for more
information about these errors)
Note: One of these errors is always JUST_POWERED_ON
(HE 1). When a normal reset or power-on occurs, this error
is generated to track how many times the unit has been
powered on.
• Histogram of all the startup errors and the picture count when the error last occurred.
• Last 10 software error messages and the picture count when they occurred.
• Full autoluma history (64 samples) of the last three autoluma failures
Since the ProPalette unit has no internal clock, the error log uses the picture count (total
number of pictures exposed) as a substitute for clock time.

Running ERRSTAT.EXE

The proper command structure for running ERRSTAT.EXE is: errstat
By default, the utility accesses the COM1 port of the host computer.
The ERRSTAT help file can be displayed with the command errstat ?
