Installation of the Camera Plate Assembly

Reverse the steps above.
Note: If you are replacing the camera plate with a new one, check
the replacement to make sure the tapped openings for the
large camera adapter on each side of the camera connector
are plugged with Allen screws. If necessary, use the screws
from the old plate to plug the holes.
When orienting the camera plate between the pan assembly
and the light box, listen for a "pop" as the plate seats on the
locator pins. Be sure the plate is properly aligned on the
pins before installing the securing screws. Also be sure no
cables are pinched or in the light path.

Removal of the Camera Connector/Cable Assembly

Note: The Camera Connector/Cable Assembly is attached to the
camera plate by two screws and standoffs. This assembly
includes the cable, the connector that mounts on the camera
plate, and the male connector on the end of the cable
terminating at the Digital Board.
1. Remove the Front Bezel and the Camera Plate Assembly.
2. Unfasten the connector from the camera plate by removing the two 4-40 x 3/4
button hex head screws and standoffs (Figure 5-7).
Note: The screws and standoffs must be reused when installing
the new assembly.
