Using the software switch settings, you can select whether or not SMTP transmission is used. For
details, refer to "Specifying settings concerning Assistant tool for bizhub C200, SMTP
transmission/reception and POP3 reception (mode 361)" on page 3-12.
In order to specify SMTP authentication settings, the software switch settings must be specified. For
details, refer to "Specifying security settings for e-mail transmissions (mode 380)" on page 3-14.

Description
Specify the name for the machine.
The machine name is used as a part of the file name with Scan to E-mail transmissions. In
addition, it is used as a part of the subject with Scan to E-mail and Internet fax transmis-
sions.
Description
Specify the IP address of the SMTP server.
This must be specified in order to send Scan to E-mail and Internet fax transmissions.
Specify the e-mail address of the machine.
Specify the SMTP authentication user name used with SMTP authentication.
It is not necessary to specify this setting if the SMTP authentication user name is the same
as the POP3 user name.
Specify the SMTP authentication password used with SMTP authentication.
It is not necessary to specify this setting if the SMTP authentication password is the same
as the POP3 password.
