Removing the CPU

1. Turn OFF the computer and turn it over.
2. Remove the screws - (Figure 2 -

3. Remove the four screws from the heat sink in order
Caution
The heat sink, and
CPU area in general,
contains parts which
are subject to high
temperatures - Please
allow the area time to
cool before removing
these parts.

Order
When inserting a new
or replacement CPU,
make sure you insert
the screws in the
same order indicated
in Figure 2 - 8.
