2.23 Search Mode/Backup-Select Media

[Local Drive]
When you choose the 'AVI Backup' option you
may select a drive that is physically installed on
the DVR. This can be an internal or external
hard drive, mapped network drive, "ZIP" or
other removable drive, or a formatted CD-R /
CD-RW disk.

Click on the 'Down Arrow' to show the avail-
able drives installed on the DVR. Click on a
drive to select it as the backup drive. Click on
the OK button to confirm your choice. The Se-
lect Backup Media panel will close.
Do NOT select the 'C' drive or any drives that are allocated for data storage
!
by the DVR for backup. Backing up to the 'C' drive or allocated storage
drives will interfere with the operation of the DVR.

[Select Media]
Select the drive to save the backup on.
You may save data to:
Floppy disk (Still images only)
External disk (Zip, Jazz, etc.)
External Hard Drive
Mapped Network Drive
Remote IP Address
CD-R / CD-RW
Optional DVD-R
Click on the Select Media button to choose
where to save your backup.
