CLEANING THE AIR FILTER ELEMENTS
1. Loosen:
• bolts 1 / screws 2
2. Remove:
• air filter case cover 3
• seals 4
• air filter element 5
N O T I C E
• The engine should never be run without the
air filter; excessive piston and/or cylinder
wear may result.
3. Check:
• air filter element
Dusty → Clean the air filter element with
compressed air.
Damaged → Replace.
4. Install:
• seals
• air filter element
N O T I C E
Place the air filter element in the original
position, and then install the screw.
5. Tighten:
• bolts / screws
6. Install:
• Air filter case covers
TIP
Make sure its sealing surface matches the
sealing surface of the case so there is no air
leak.
