TIP
Before adjusting the front brake, the front
brake linings should be checked.
N O T I C E
Proper lever free play is essential to avoid
excessive brake drag.
1. Measure:
• front brake lever free play
2. Adjust:
• front brake lever free play
a. Loosen the locknuts
b. Turn the adjusters
TIP
Make sure that the difference between clear-
ances
front brake lever is squeezed.
c. Tighten the locknuts.

Wear indicators reaches the wear limit line
→ Replace the brake shoes as a set.
Refer to "FRONT BRAKES" in chapter 6.
Adjust the front and rear brake lever free play
after replace the brake shoes.
