4.2 Maintenance task reference table [QL1]

The maintenance tasks and intervals for this product are defined in the Maintenance Schedule. The
Maintenance Schedule is a stand-alone publication.
The task numbers in this table provide reference to the maintenance tasks specified in the Maintenance
Schedule.
Task Measures
W0501 Visually inspect engine for leaks and general condition
W0509 Check machine room for smell of gas
W0523 Check for abnormal running noises and vibrations
W0527 Check engine oil level in storage tank
W1002 Check valve clearance
W1005 Replace air filter
W1008 Replace engine oil filter at each oil change or when the time
limit (years) is reached, at the latest
W1046 Crankcase breather: Replace filter or filter element
W1089 Check gas lines for leaks, seal if required
W1091 Check ignition timing, readjust as necessary
W1168 Replace spark plugs
W1341 Check exhaust emissions, adjust if required
W1382 Replace vent line of engine coolant circuit (8/12/16V only)
W1688 Replace spark plug connectors
W1689 Measure valve depth
