Mirror image 2D code reading function (REVERSE)
2D codes can be read from the surface or reverse side. The enabling or disabling of 2D code reading from
the reverse side can be selected at the QR Code Menu or with the settings software.
The mirror image 2D code reading is enabled, the time required for reading may increase.

DECODE LEVEL
The decode level may be set by the user. Lowering the level increases the code scanning efficiency,
however, the risk of misreading poor-quality codes (broken bars, dirty) also increases. Raising the level,
on the other hand, decreases the code scanning efficiency, but lowers the possibility of misreading.
The setting range for the decode level is 1 to 9, with the default level set to 4.
LIGHT mode (LIGHT)
The light mode can be set.

SCAN MODE
You can select the scan mode from the following:
NORMAL:
Normal Reader mode
POINT:
Point Scan mode
BARCODE: Barcode Reader mode
Point Scan mode:
Scanning can be performed by aiming at the code on the cross in the center of the marker. If there is no
code on the cross, or if unable to detect the marker due to external light and so on, scanning will not be
possible. Furthermore, this type of scanning is valid only when the marker light is enabled.
It is not possible to enable Point Scan mode at the same time as Barcode Reader mode. The mode
specified last will be valid.
Barcode Reader mode:
When using Barcode Reader mode, the scannable range in the longitudinal direction is restricted to 15%
in the center as shown in the diagram below, and the skew angle θ is 0° ≤ θ ≤ 6°.
As a result, the time required to scan barcodes is shorter than that for Normal Reader mode.
However, scanning of 2D codes or multiline barcodes is not possible, even if enabled. Furthermore, it is
not possible to enable Barcode Reader mode at the same time as Point Scan mode. The mode specified
last will be valid.
