In the [IP Address] box, type a valid IP address.

In the [Netmask] box, type a valid subnet mask
address.

In the [Gateway] box, type a valid gateway
address.
Warning
• If you are unsure or do not know what to type in
any of the three boxes above, consult your system
administrator before making any changes.
Entering inappropriate values may make the
system inaccessible, resulting in loss of all data
on the unit's hard disk. If this occurs, please
contact a Sony service center near you.
• If you forget the IP address of the UPA-P100MD
after changing it, you will not be able to access
the unit. To prevent this, please write down the IP
address and store it in a safe place.

Click [Save Config]. The "Configuration saved"
message appears and the UPA-P100MD restarts.

Close your browser.

Disconnect the unit from your computer and
connect it to the network. If you are unsure of how
to connect the unit to your network, ask your
system administrator.
Configuring the UPA-
P100MD
Before using the UPA-P100MD, you need to configure
it through the configuration screen. Follow the
procedure below to configure the UPA-P100MD.

Turn on a computer connected to the network to
which the UPA-P100MD is connected. (Or turn on
the computer directly connected to the UPA-
P100MD, if connected locally.)

Start your Internet browser.

Type the following address in the address bar of
your Internet browser.
• If using the UPA-P100MD through a network:
http://network IP address/
• If the UPA-P100MD is connected directly to your
computer: http://192.168.3.200/
This is the default address. It may change when
you change the UPA-P100MD configuration.
The Sony UPA-P100MD screen opens.

Click [Configuration].

section, "The Configuration Screen".
