If no further voice channel is available for call forwarding, forwarding cannot take
place.
If the CD external function is activated, the call forwarding is carried out directly by
the external line. The disadvantages described above no longer occur. However this
service must be enabled.
Note:
This service is not supported by every telephony network provider.
When more than one subscriber is being addressed external CD will
not be carried out. In this case call deflection is being carried out via the
second voice channel (B channel). This makes sure that - despite a call
deflection is carried out - all other extensions will continue ringing.

Basic number (only point-to-point connection)

For a point-to-point connection, it is additionally necessary to enter the basic number
of the telephone system. Enter the extension numbers for the point-to-point connec-
tion in the "enter MSN/DDI" menu.
Alternatively you can also enter the basic number under MSN/DDI. This is necessary
if the same DDI is used on several point-to-point connections and if you like to have a
defined assignment of internal DDIs to certain external ports. In this case, your public
switch has to meet the following conditions:
Incoming calls must include the basic number and the DDI as destination.
For outgoing calls, the base number with DDI must be accepted as an individual
phone number.
With this telephone system DDIs must not be identical with the internal phone num-
bers (extension numbers). You can, however, programme it this way.

Switchboard

In this menu you can select one subscriber for the switchboard function. The follow-
ing calls will be routed to this subscriber:
calls for a DDI / MSN which has been assigned to no internal subscriber
calls for an unknown DDI
calls for this subscriber
