2. Thermostat and Thermoswitch

Tightening torque:
39.2 to 49.0 N m
(4.0 to 5.0 kgf m)
[28.9 to 36.2 lbf ft]

2.1 Installing the thermostat case

(1) Assemble the thermostat into the thermostat case.
(2)
Using a new gasket, install the thermostat
assembly onto the cylinder head.

2.2 Installing the thermoswitch

Apply sealant to the threaded portion of the
switch, and tighten it to the specified torque.

Tightening torque:
18.6 to 26.5 N m
(1.9 to 2.7 kgf m)
[ 13.7 to 19.5 lbf ft]
Case bolt tightening torque:
