Inspecting the thermoswitch
Dip the temperature sensing element of the
thermoswitch in oil as illustrated.
warming the oil, measure the resistance at the oil

replace the thermoswitch.

This is a "hot" operation. Pay every attention to
prevent burns and fire.
3. Water Pump
Inspecting the water pump
Rotate the impeller and the shaft for any noise or
binding. If faulty, replace the entire pump
assembly.
