1.2 Installing the relief valve

Install the relief valve onto the side face of the
cylinder block, tightening it to the specified
torque.

1.3 Installing the oil filter

(1) Apply a thin coating of engine oil to the oil filter
gasket.
(2) Screw in the filter until the gasket contacts the
mounting face. Then, tighten to the specified
torque.
OIL SYSTEM - INSTALLATION
Installing the relief valve
Tightening torque:
10.8 to 12.7 N m
(1.1 to 1.3 kgf m)
[8.0 to 9.4 lbf ft]
Installing the oil filter (1)
Installing the oil filter (2)
Tightening torque:
44.1 to 53.9 N m
(4.5 to 5.5 kgf m)
[32.5 to 39.8 lbf ft]
Apply engine oil.
