Troubleshooting with Logfiles

The logfile can be used to troubleshoot network issues. When seeking assistance out-
side your network, SIP traces can be especially helpful.
1.
Click Clear to clear the log if necessary.
2.
Make a phone call.
3.
Click Reload, then navigate to Status > Call Log.
The SIP trace can be pasted into an email or a text editor and used for troubleshooting.

Trunk and Extension Settings

Settings made from the web interface (see Figure B-6 on next page) will affect what is in
the SIP INVITE.
