Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation of the
printer driver. When the installation is complete, the Windows desktop
appears.

During software installation you can view online help by
choosing the Help button.

Remove the CD-ROM from the PC, and store it in a safe place.

Manual Installation

Connect your printer to your PC with a parallel cable.

Insert the Software Utilities CD-ROM.
The Register Online screen appears with the main menu screen's license
agreement.

Choose Accept or Decline. Click on Next.

The Add Printer wizard will appear. Click on Next.

Click on Next again for Local Printer.

Select Have Disk and Browse.

Choose the CD-ROM drive and select Platform.

Select the driver appropriate for your operating system and the desired
language.

Choose mqgsps.inf (minusb.inf is for USB only). Click on OK and OK
again.

Choose the MINOLTA-QMS magicolor 3100. Click on Next.

If you have an older MINOLTA-QMS driver installed on your PC, you may
be asked to replace existing driver. Click on Next.

Choose the LPT port. Click on Next and Next again.

If you would like to print a test page, select that.

Select Finish.
