Connect your printer to the network with an Ethernet cable.

If necessary, in the Administration/Communications/Resident NIC/Crown-
Net/TCPIP/Internet Address menu, enter the printer's Internet address.
The factory default Internet address is 161.33.128.24. If necessary, in the
Administration/Communications/Resident NIC/CrownNet/TCPIP/Internet
Address menu, enter the Internet address.
The factory default router address is 000.000.000.000. This setting
provides automatic sensing of gateways. If you identify a subnet mask,
automatic sensing is disabled.

If you want to refer to the printer by host name instead of IP address, edit
the system host table by adding the following line to the host file:
internetaddress hostname
where internetaddress is the Internet address of the printer
(Administration/Communication/Resident NIC/CrownNet/TCPIP/Internet
Address menu, and hostname is the descriptive name of the printer). This
requires administrator privileges on your network. Contact your system
administrator.

Insert the Software Utilities CD-ROM.

Click on the printer utilities and driver.

First, install the print monitor. Follow the steps in the Install Wizard.

Remove the CD-ROM from the
PC, and store it in a safe place.
