REMOVING THE SIDE FAIRINGS

C a r e f u l l y
r e a d
(MAINTENANCE).
WARNING
Allow for the engine and exhaust
silencer to cool down completely before
proceeding.
Place the vehicle on the stand, see page
60 (PLACING THE VEHICLE ON THE
STAND).
Release and remove the screws (1).
Release and remove the two screws (2).
Slacken the quick fasteners (3).
Slacken and remove the quick fasteners

Remove the side fairing (2).
NOTE
other side fairing.
NOTE
and (4) through the hole (5) in the left
fairing.

REMOVING THE SIDE PANELS

Remove the rider saddle, see page 81
(REMOVING THE RIDER SADDLE).
Release and remove the screw (1).
Release the plastic rivet (3) using a flat-
blade screwdriver.
Release and remove the two screws (2).

Remove the side panel (3).
NOTE
Make sure the rear fittings are
positioned correctly on refitting.
Repeat process to remove the other side
panel.
NOTE
The passenger seat lock or
passenger seat cover will remain attached
to the left side panel.
To separate them, disconnect the Bowden
cable from the lock on the inside of the side
panel.
