REMOVING THE SIDE FAIRINGS
Carefully read p. 83 (MAINTENANCE).
Wait until the engine and the exhaust
silencer have completely cooled down.

Position the vehicle on the stand, see p.
82 (POSITIONING THE VEHICLE ON
THE STAND).

Remove the nylon protection (3).
◆
Unscrew the three retaining screws (2).
Handle plastic and paint-finished parts

damage.

Remove the side fairing (1).
NOTE
Repeat these operations to
remove the other side fairing.

Place the vehicle on the rear service

Release and remove the two front
screws (4).
◆
Release and remove the two rear side
screws (5).
◆
Remove the lower fairing (6).

Remove the rider seat, see p. 106

Unscrew and remove the two screws (7).
Handle plastic and paint-finished parts

Remove the side body panel (8).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, make sure
that the rear coupli ng is positioned
correctly.
Repeat these operations to remove the
other side body panel.
