This chapter covers system general characteristic under normal operation.
Away Arm
Away Arm will arm all devices in the system
Arming the System
When the system is under Disarm mode:
1. Press the "Arm" key on the Control Panel, Remote Controller, or Remote Keypad.
2. The Exit Timer will be displayed and begin to count down according to system setting.
3. When the Exit Time is up, the Control Panel will sound a long beep. Alarm On will be displayed
on the screen and the system enters Away Arm Mode.
Stopping the Exit Timer
1. Press the "Disarm" key on the Control Panel and enter a User PIN Code; press the "Disarm"
key on Remote Controller; or enter a User PIN Code and press the Disarm key on Remote
Keypad.
2. The Exit Timer will stop and the system returns to Disarm mode.
Extending the Exit TImer
1. Press the "Arm" key on the Remote Controller and Remote Keypad again.
2. The Exit Timer will be reset and start counting from the beginning.
Home Arm
Home Arm will partially arm the system and allows free movement inside the house.
Arming the System in Home Mode
When the system is under Disarm mode:
1. Press the "Home" key on the Control Panel, or Remote Controller, Remote Keypad.
2. The Exit Timer will be displayed and begin to count down according to system setting.
3. When the Exit Time is up, the Control Panel will sound three short beeps. Home will be
displayed on the screen and the system enters Home Arm Mode.
Stopping the Exit Timer
The Exit Timer can be stopped in the same way as Away Arm mode..
Extending the Exit Timer
1. Press the "Home" key on the Remote Controller and Remote Keypad again.
2. The Exit Timer will be reset and start counting from the beginning.
NOTE: The Remote Keypad has the option to choose between "Arm without User PIN Code",
or "Arm with User PIN Code". When the keypad is set to "Arm with User PIN Code", you need
to enter the PIN Code then press Armor Home key to arm the system. Please refer to Remote
Keypad manual for more detail.
