5. System Default Setting

Entry/Exit Time and Device Attribute
When the system is armed and an Entry device is triggered, the Entry timer will begin to count
down (default 20 seconds). The system must be disarmed before the timer expires, or a Burglar
alarm will be activated.
When the system is being armed, the Exit timer will begin to count down (default 30 seconds), the
system will ignore any sensors triggered during this period. The user should use this duration to
leave the premises before the system is armed.
NOTE: The Entry Timer only works with device set to "Entry". PIR Sensor and Door Contact
learned during the First Time Setup process will be assigned to "Entry" attribute. For device
attribute detail and Entry/Exit Time programming, please see later chaper "Programming
Mode."
Alarm Activation
When an alarm is triggered, the system will report to programmed telephone numbers according to
their priority. Depend on your setting, the system will dial the telephone numbers you entered in the
system and play voice message upon connection, or send an SMS message.
Address Message
The Address Message will be played in the beginning of all your voice message reports to notify
the recipient your user information. Please make sure to record your own Address Message by
referring to "Programming Mode." Default Address Message is "Alarm System."
Alarm Length
Default alarm length for siren upon activation is set to 3 minutes. To change the alarm length,
please refer to "Programming Mode."
Jamming and Interference Detection
The Control Panel is capable of detecting radio signal jamming and interference, the function is
disabled by default, if jamming and interference is of concern to you, please see chapter
"Programming Mode"
