T R O U B L E S H O O T I N G
NOTE:
The battery provides power for operation of the
fuel meter and "OIL" indicator light. If none of
the above operates, always check the battery vol-
tage before proceeding further. Low battery vol-
tage indicates either a faulty battery, low battery
electrolyte, or defective charging system. Also,
check the fuse condition.
SIGNAL SYSTEM
ELEC I
1. Fuel meter does not w o r k
Check for voltage (12V) on "Br" lead at fuel
meter connector.

Check for voltage (12V) on " G " lead at fuel
meter connector.

Check for voltage (6-12V) on "G" lead at fuel
sender connector.

Check for condition of fuel sender and fuel
meter. Refer to "FUEL SENDER CHECK" and
"FUEL METER CHECK".

Wiring circuit from fuse to fuel meter
connector is faulty, repair.
Check for condition of fuel meter. If
fuel meter is poor condition, replace it.
Wiring circuit from fuel meter to fuel
sender is faulty, repair.
